I was going to start this post by having a pity party for me. I am poor Beth the woman who does not know how to link things on her blog. Then I did this incredible thing....you may have heard of it...its called reading. I read the directions on how to link something on my blog. Amazing!!!
This is what I wanted to link: http://angelabishop.blogspot.com/ It is my friend Angela's blog! I was so siked to see her doing one, I went and commented right away. It is so cool, because it is like hanging out with her everyday (or close) When I get together with my peeps from High School (that right we still hang out after 15 years) we jam months of stuff into a couple of hours. Its tough. This is one way to keep in touch. I can't tell you how happy it makes me when I have a comment from anyone (esp my friends)!! I must admit I don't like the stupid spam people :(
So Blog on Angela--I will be reading!
Last, but certainly not least, is my opinion of the season premere of "Lost"...
I LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!! I am hooked. Anyone else see it?? (Lon-don't answer that I already know) What did you think?? I seriously can't wait until next Wednesday!!
Oh and Happy Fall, Y'all--it was official yesterday!

Had a bad morning this morning, rolling to much crap around in my head, and felt like crawling under the covers and sleeping all day. Survived it. Got on with life. I need to cut myself some slack somedays. Beth to Self "YOU ARE NOT SUPER BETH-JUST MILD MANNERED BETH!!" Man, do I have a boatload of stuff going on! Keep thinking that that week off between Christmas and New Years is going to be Heaven. Sweet, relaxing, nothing to do but scrap, play with my new presents and hang out with the fam, heaven. AAHHHHHH!
Well, sleep is important and I need some. Peace out.

WATERMARK.
Here it is. At least the first draft. I love it!!!! It needs to be touched up and since I am the Goddess of Photoshop (HA!) I am going to ask someone to help me clean it up. But it has my tat and my name and the stuff that I am doing all on one little watermark. Figured out how to create the watermark part, but want to thank Mark and Sharon for the help on the extras. Mark you are a rockstar!!! Well, I am about done for the day-keep your eyes to the blog for camera updates!

These are my angels. All three of them. We had a good night tonight. Ted went to work and I had them all to myself. Over dinner, Ben let me know everything about his day and afterwards we made Butterscotch pudding. Despite a tearful dinner(mostly because they did not eat their veggies and got no yummy pudding) Cate and Alex rallied and we had an enjoyable evening. We read about a chameleon and a snuggle puppy, got a blueberry smoothie bath (new shampoo that smells out of this world good) and got tucked into bed with no problems. Best part of the night- as I lean over Cate to kiss her goodnight she whispers "You're nice Mommy, I love you so much". To top it off Ben says I am the "coolest" --Dude- that went straight to my head!! Can't even fit through the door right now :)
These kids are the best!!! Will I probably post at a later date that they are all little nuts and I want to ship them to Guam? Most Likely. But for tonight I am the Coolest and Nice and they are the sweetest, most well behaved kids on the planet.

It's a lovely September Saturday and I've been watching my sister-in-law strip down and put on her wedding dress. I'm also trying to plan my d@mn 15 year reunion that my freaking friends are forcing me to have. Don't get me wrong, I love planning this $hit, I just like to pretend that I don't. Wow, I really seem to have a cursing problem today. Sorry.
Anyway, if anyone is interested in joining the GHS Class of 1990 festivities on Saturday, November 26th at the Landmark Grill and Taproom in Glassboro, please contact me.
By the way, if you are reading this, you should be ashamed of yourself. It's a gorgeous day and your sorry @ss should be outside! Peace out.
Please note: This entry was ghost written by Beth's friend Liz who is clearly high on PCP.

This is a picture of our neighbors Cheri and Sean. We met them over 2 1/2 years ago when they moved into our neighborhood. They ROCK!!! Tonight they came over to our house for dinner and we had a great meal and great conversation!
When I was growing up, my neighborhood was a lot different then our neighborhood is today. People got together, they talked, they ate, they communicated, they offered help or support when someone needed it. Everyone knew everyone. As a kid I knew that I was not going to get away with anything, because any one of our neighbors would rat me out. Here is the kicker, my parents would not even be upset or embarrassed--they would thank the neighbor-then dish out some punishment.
Our neighborhood is not like that. I don't know if it is the hustle and bustle of life, or if people just don't want to be bothered. In fact, I remember one of my neighbors looking at me like I had 69 heads when I suggested we have a block cookout. That is one of the reasons I feel lucky to have Cheri and Sean as neighbors.
One of my short term goals is to get more involved with both the neighborhood and the school district (now that Ben is in Kindergarten). Part of this is extending myself more. Maybe other people feel the way I do and wish someone would invite them for a cup of coffee, dinner, a chat about taxes or the weather. Who knows?? I refuse to be all talk and no action. In fact, one of our newer neighbors had a baby not to long ago, so in the next week I want to make them a card and maybe bake something and take it down to them. Get to know them better.
I am ending this entry tonight with a little recipe I whipped up in my head- it may be a little corny-but man, if we all followed it maybe things could be better...
Recipe for Community:
Mix the following in any neighborhood-
Several Families of varied backgrounds, beliefs, colors and sizes
Small chunk of Time
Cup of Tolerance
Pound of Respect
Scoop of Kindness (can substitute Friendliness)
Dash of Fellowship
Once all of your ingredients are together, have dinner.

Yes, it is that time of the year again. Football season (insert groan). Don't get me wrong-I actually like football, both college and professional. However, it is not part of my daily life say like...scrapbooking is. I work in a program where there are six of us and I am the only female. Three of the guys played football on the college level, one played semi-pro for a while, one tried out for the NFL-because he was like an all American, 2 coach/or coached. Every single one of them are in some type of football internet pool. So everyday I hear about players, trades, scores and stats. Pretty exciting stuff (insert chuckle and snort).
Because I have busted a time or two that the guys in my office may be a tad obsessed with football, they have given it right back to me about scrapbooking. Scrapbooking is called Creative Cult (rightly so) and I am "fondly" called CrabScrapper, Scrappy Do or some other derivative of scrappin'. I will be the first to admit that I am obsessed with Scrapbooking-there is no doubt about it. I just redid a room so I could house all my supplies (woo-hoo NEW ROOM!).
I have put together the following list to actually show that there may be different levels of obsessed-You be the judge.
1. I can not name the last five years of Scrapbooking Hall of Fame Winners.
2. I do not know the top grossing (Scoring) scrapbook company from Last year.
3. I do not trade fictious scrapbooking papers to other scrappers in the hope that the scrapbook page that I created will get the most points to win the "free" weekly contest.
4. I can not name all of the "professional" scrapbooking companies and everyone who "works" for them.
5. I do not know every professional scrapbooker that has ever scrapped- as well as how tall they are, how much they weigh and how many scrapbook pages that they have completed.
There you go. More later......

Hello!! Call me a copycat, lemming or Hot Beth, but I am joining the masses and starting a blog. I don't know how well I will keep up with it-1.) I absolutely hate to type 2.) I am really not that deep 3.) I did not do well in Creative Writing 101 4.) I have so many peaches on my plate right now-I am struggling to keep any from sliding off--but I am going to take it day by day.
With that said, I have a NEW ROOM/STUDIO!!! This weekend, between Ted and I, we painted, put in a new Pergo floor (Ted Rocks!!), put in new shelves in the closet and organized the old scrapbook/computer room to turn it into my kick butt studio. I see myself doing great things in this room and I can not wait to get crackin'!! It is truly amazing how a little bit of change gets the creative juices flowing. Did I mention that Ted Rocks!!! Also want to give a shout out to Marci who was very understanding today when I explained that our house was literally in shambles and had to rescheduled our photo shoot--two grilled cheese sandwiches for you Marci.
