Happy Birthday Ted-How about I get you Rita's Water Ice!
Today was Ted's B-day (plus the first day of Spring-yeah!) and the kids and I woke him up with a birthday orange. You heard me right-- I plugged a candle in an orange, lit it and sang Happy Birthday to him. We are trying to make healthy choices you know. I had to go to work today, but came home at lunch to give Ted some "Personal Down Time"-he went to the store to buy fixin's for French Onion Soup (so I guess the cookbooks I got him scored some points this year) After dinner we went to Rita's for some free water ice and it was packed! The funniest thing about the whole Rita's trip was sitting in the van watching Alex shivering while still shoveling water ice in his mouth.

I, too, had my obligatory water ice today! Of course, I got mine at lunch here at the Rita's in Gap. It was so tasty (of course I ate it while shivering and wearing my coat too!)
First day of spring - ha!
Ummm, my birthday is on the 20th, not the 21st. And yes the cook books are a hit.
