I hate the "B" word.
No, I am not talking about a female dog or myself, I am talking about the word BUSY. It just drives me nuts! Quite a few people misuse this word. There is busy and then there is busy. Busy is working 60 hours a week or being a single parent with no support. Busy is not getting your nails done, watching TV or having a cold frosty adult beverage with friends. I am going to go out on a limb and say busy is not playing Texas Hold 'em poker (which I do on a regular basis).
I don't know why I am so bothered by this, I guess it is not the word so much as the lame use of it. I AM NOT BUSY!!!! I have a lot of stuff going on, but I will still make time for what is important and I will not use the word "busy" as an excuse for something I don't want to do or even better yet forgot to do!!
Okay, I am humbly stepping off the soap box, I feel better now.

"Busy" can be a by-product of having too many things to be responsible for. Take a moment to stop and think if you have anything you're responsible for that could be moderated to lessen your load. Don't take on any new things until you do.
Before you say I'm getting all preachy on you, I actually wrote this because I needed to hear it... but figured you might like to as well. Cheers!
I was going to wax philosophical about another definition of "busy" but since this is a family blog I'll refrain.
You know what I think? I think.... that I am way to busy to comment.
With all of busy talk I have one question, Did Mark Sahm get married on 9/24. The only thing that I know for sure from this blog is that you hate when people say they are busy. WELL Mark if you got married already, CONGRATULATIONS! If not congrats on your engagement.
