Home: Survived Thanksgiving/15th HS Reunion.
It was an interesting weekend to say the least. Thanksgiving day was as close to perfect as possible. Good food, peaceful and relaxing. Our extended family unit has divided over an incident that happened this summer. Long story short-My cousin fell in love with a great guy, got pregnant, got married and my Mom and I supported them-therefore making us the "Daughters of Satan". So we had a few less people at the dinner table. Which for the record was their choice. I was bummed out for about 5 minutes got over it and enjoyed a room full of people who got along--until Friday came along....
On Friday, My mom and I got into our every seven years blow out fight over something really stupid. For me to say I was a little upset, is an understatement. We made up and all, but I am still feeling tender. It made me start thinking living in Las Vegas or somewhere far, would have its perks. In fact-Ted and I even talked about it. But sometimes people disagree and fight, what shows how big of a person you are is how you handle the fall out. My feelings will mend, so will hers and we will be a stronger family for it.
On to Saturday-My 15th HS Reunion was a blast!!! It went great. About half the class showed up and hung out at the Landmark in Glassboro. It was great catching up with some people who I have not seen in 15 years, but mostly it was great hanging out with Liz, Lisa, and Erin (don't worry ang-we poured some out for you) Some embarrasing photos of me surfaced-now get your mind out of the gutter-it was just pics of me dressed up as a cupid for school spirit day. One of my classmates wives said she saw a video of me-again get your mind out of the gutter-dressed as a Red Cross blood drop supporting the school's blood drive. Yikes-have I done some nutty things in my day.
Some other little tid bits about the weekend: Had two photo shoots, did pretty good in Trivial Pursuit but lousy in Poker, saw Harry Potter "Goblet of Fire" and got to visit with Erin's parents who are the nicest people! All in all a whirlwind weekend!!

Dear Daughter of Satan/Cupid,
You better not move to Vegas!

Daughter of Satan (I like that) - It sounds like you had an event filled holiday weekend. I'm sure you wouldn't have it any other way.
Don't move to Vegas. Where would we have BYOC?
I'm glad you had a good time (even if you had some bumps).
-Kelly
PS) We saw Goblet of Fire too and really enjoyed it.
